I know how you feel. My FMIL passed away almost 4 years ago! It's still tough for everyone.

wow.. yeah I can imagine.. I have so much compassion for people in this situation . Fh and I been together nine yrs he is an only child.. so it has been hard.. whats up wih you /.?

ok well i guess im off to bed night ladies

We are having issues with a house we are bidding on.

First our bids were too low and they kept countering $20,000 higher. This went on for about 2 weeks. Then we gave a final bid and listed the reasons why- things we needed to fix. They still said no, so we walked away.

A week later the guy called back and accepted. We were really excited, so our realtor told us to schedule and inspection and we did. A day later, FH brought his Dad there to see the house. An hour after they left the guy called our realtor twice saying he had another couple bidding. We thought it was BS and he was just trying to drive up the price. Plus, I think it's fishy because the owner's realtor works in the same company as our realtor, but the owner called our realtor instead of his own! But, we bid a bit more because we really want the house. We told the guy that was our final offer and he said he would have a decision by 6pm today.

Then our realtor calls us today and the owner of the house apparently got a hold of our mortgage broker and called her and tried to get our credit scores from her. Our realtor keeps calling him for his decision and he is not answering the phone.

So, we have no clue what is going on! I'm annoyed because we already have an inspection scheduled for this Friday. I am a teacher, so I wrote up lesson plans and planned to take off. Now, we don't even know if he will choose us and he isn't letting us know!

i have beem reading you posts about t the house.. closing and stuff can be soo annoying .. I am also a teacher so I know how stressful it is to take off.. esp. then not take off after you went through all the work to take off....
