i've heard this from a few other girls, and it happened to me as well. I thought that i was going to be ridiculously nervous BUT something in me just changed that day. i had absolutely no nerves! I was on a complete high and just filled with excitement. I really wouldn't worry to much about being nervous, your wedding day just seems to give you this crazy high, nothing like you've ever felt before.
so my advice to you, is relax and just go with it!!!!!!

Re: hey married ladies I have a question
I was really normal all day except for sitting down and we had about 15 mins to go and I put my veil over my face and my niece came up to me and said Aunt Jenn you don't look so good. Then it hit me and then it went away. When i was standing at the door with my dad he turned to me and i kinda could hear he was upset just a tad thats when i wanted to cry for the first time so i held it in and then it was easy as anything. Just look around when you walk down the aisle - i was waving and smiling at everyone and it felt so good.

oh i know I'm gonna be at least a little nervous! I'm always kinda jittery when walking down the aisle just as part of the Bridal Party, so when i'm actually the BRIDE, who knows. I just don't like the feeling of all eyes on me, makes me nervous. lol. But I have a feeling I'll be fine. I know that I'm gonna be lookin' beautiful, feelin' confident, and I'll just be sooo excited to get up there and meet my man at the alter.

Re: hey married ladies I have a question
i thought i would be but i really wasnt. I was expecting to trip or make my usual stupid faces, even my MOH thought i'd make my usual face hahahaha bc i get very weird when ppl stare at me and dont like it and then i make this stupid face and get uncomfortable but luckily it didnt happen on wedding day. I was nervous right when we pulled up in front of the church, i was like OMG this is happening RIGHT NOW . But i remember seeing dh from the side door while i was waiting and it calmed me down. Once i walked down the aisle i just focused on him

Re: hey married ladies I have a question
I'm not married yet but I will be in two weeks, and I just wanted to let you know that I'm with you on this. I just recently started thinking about it and it's getting me very nervous more and more each day. But I'm sure it will be fine. People keep telling me that once you are down the aisle and the ceremony begins, you will start to calm down. ETA - HEY - we are date twins!!! I just noticed that

I thought I would be extremely nervous, but I really wasn't. When I was walking down the aisle I surprisingly did not feel that nervous.

I was so nervous the whole morning but I have to say, walking down the aisle was the easiest part! I was more nervous about our entrance into the reception

Re: hey married ladies I have a question
I wasn't nervous at all in the morning -- it probably helped that I saw DH before the ceremony for pictures and the ketubah signing. However, I did get nervous riiiiight before the ceremony started. As soon as I got down there and started walking the nervousness went away.
I was more nervous for our entrance into the reception! I knew we'd be going right from our entrance into our first dance and I was afraid the band wouldn't do our very unique song exactly the way I wanted (no need -- they nailed it!!) and I was afraid of looking stupid since we're both pretty bad dancers.
In both cases we were OK
