Re: hey my girlies..can u help me out?
Hmmmmmmm........that's a good question!
Well, I think it would be determined by a number of things. First off, how close are you to these people? Is it family? Is it close family? Where is the party being held? Big and fancy or small and intimate?
Or maybe you can give a gift instead of money. I mean I think most people give money for a wedding b/c it's a new couple starting off, so it's something to help them out. But these are people who are already 'established.' Maybe a pretty Lenox or Armani piece may be more appropriate.
But then again, I've never been to a renewal ceremony so I don't have any experience. Just my thoughts! Hope that helps sweetie! Good Luck!

I totally agree with this. I'm not sure if money would be appropriate for a couple who is already established.

ya know Val.. I didn't even think about a gift, only money. That may be a good idea! I know they are doing okay too! they have a huge beautiful home (in fact they are having this renewal party in their beautiful back yard'... so they aren't just starting out. I guess a gift may be more appropriate! Thanks hun.. I will speak to Vinny about that.

Okay..I would say a nice piece for their home...nice gift...
Or better yet...A gift certificate somwhere...some people think its impersonal...but they are always nice...I think appropriate for vow renewal as well

i agree with a gift also. you can try to do the traditional gift or maybe even a gift card to their fav. restaurant or something they can do.
