Hey... Remember my post about... (VENT - kinda long)

My FMIL and her demand that either we invite all the billion little kids in the family, or I have to find something to do with them? Well, guess what - she's still on it! Yesterday was my graduation party and at one point I asked FMIL if she could write me a guest list from her side so I have an idea of how many people we're dealing with. She used this opportunity to start bugging me about the kids again and when I said NO, we're not having kids (for the 5th time!) she started a fight with me and FI right there in front of everyone in the middle of my party in the middle of the restaurant! And her big-mouthed boyfriend (who is 20 years her junior mind you - and acts like he's 20 years MY junior) got involved and started fighting with FI too! Oh yeah, and did I mention that they don't like to speak English, so they were screaming at me in a foreign language so I couldn't even understand what they were saying to me! I am soooo P***ED!

sorry to hear that people can be so cruel. just yes them to death and make the decision on your own. its your wedding not hers if she wants to invite all these kids she can do that when she marries her boyfriend.

Wow, that ****s. My family was on my case about things in the beginning too, then backed off. How long have you been planning? Have you made sure your FH feels the same as you and will back you up?

Also, not that you SHOULD be responsible, but in case it gets to be too much to bear...most wedding halls will provide a sitter and kids meals for the kids in case you to invite them but not have them tear up the hall.
