Hey there ladies,

So my name is Emilie and I just recently got engaged to my boyfriend of almost 4 years. I guess that makes him my fiancee now. =)

I'm still a student at Tulane University in New Orleans, La. I'm graduating next May with a degree in Evolutionary Biology. Since I'm graduating in May of 2011 we wanted to give ourselves enough time after I graduate to actually get married and have everything planned out. Also since our anniversary is 11/11/06 we wanted to also get married in November. His birthday is in October and mine is in November so we wanted to keep it close to our birthday's as well.

I'm from Lindenhurst so I would love to have my ceremony at OLPH (Our Lady of Perpetual Help), but I'm still not sure about the reception because this is all so new. But I'm excited to start planning it all.

I just wanted to introduce myself because I'm sure in the near future I'm gonna need some help from you guys. I look forward to getting to know you gals as well.

hey! pretty dresses! take it from me... try everythin on. it make look great in a picture, but when u try it on it make look awful lol take into account where your ceremony and reception are also. I am gettin married in Cancun and having a reception here on the beach, so a ball gown or anything heavy wouldn't have worked. so i ended up with a beautiful chiffon number you can see it at davidsbridal.com and the model # is t9850. happy planning and hope it all works out!
