yup!!! 3 months! remember you have those rsvps and if you don't get it you have to start making those phone calls YEA I AM SOOO NOT READY FOR THIS Lol

I think it is anywhere btween 2 - 3 months before. Also depends on how long you want to give them to respond. We got our invitation to my cousins wedding in the mail yesterday, her wedding is Oct 3 and the RSVP is August 24, which is less than 3 weeks, which I think is rather quick. Obviously I am going so to us, it doesn't matter what the RSVP date is but others who aren't that close may need some more time??

I think we will be sending ours out middle of July with maybe 4-6 weeks to RSVP.....that should be enough time!

I'll be mailing mine right after Christmas with the same sort of time line.

I am looking at getting my invites all together around Nov - December.

Who would have thought a March wedding would interfere with the holidays!

maybe i will mail it like a week earlier than i have but this is why i don't want to send them out earlier - i want the holiday mail to be GONE

2 months is when they are usually sent out.

I heard 2 months as well with RSVP 1 month before.

i think its 8 - 10 weeks.

if you sent the invites today you'll still have people to harass. Plus if you send STDs your guests should already know the date and if they are coming.

3 months.... dont be like the wedding I am going to in Sept in CT the wedding is on 9/19 and we just got the invite on Monday.

hm i was gonna do may 1st..but that would only be 2 months before-i should do april 10th or so? when would our rsvp date be? how far before?

I put my RSVP date 1 month before (so Jan 14). I was planning on sending them out Dec 14th but maybe I should send them out earlier to not get lost in holiday.Maybe I will send them out on Thanksgiving.

we we're doing 3 months since wedding is in feb and the mail gets slow around the holidays...
