Re: hey yesenia

LoriBeth, thank you so much for asking!!! It's been really difficult - especially for Luis since he has to go home everyday and see that Coco is really gone (we don't live together). He came over and saw Viva, our other doggie, a couple of days ago and it was hard, but he loves her so much, maybe it helped a little.

I know eventually it will get easier. I've been keeping busy with wedding details - Luis just has work so I think that also doesn't help much. But I know with time it will get a bit easier.

THANKS SO MUCH!

Re: hey yesenia

unfortunately i know what you are going through. FH and i lost his baby, a rottie, last year to cancer, and he seemed ok... but i remember one day a couple of months after, FH said something to me about how everytime he comes home he keeps expecting to see his puppy... we both broke down crying.

just know that it does get easier, we are now able to look at his pictures and talk about what an amazing dog he was and how much we miss him without losing it. i know that you will be able to do the same for coco!

for both of you!!!

Thank you! It's good to hear from someone that went through something similar that it does get better, but I'm SO SORRY for your and your FH's loss! Luis tells me the same thing everyday - that he comes home, Coco's not there, and all the little changes now that he's gone. I look forward to the day we can talk about him and look at pictures and just smile.

Yesenia,
It gets a little easier every day. I put my cat down in November becaue he had terminal cancer, and I can feel exactly what Luis is feeling. I still expect to see his little face peeking down the stairs when I get home. I miss my little boo-boo.

Is your dog moving in with both of you after the wedding ?

I'm sooo sorry for your loss, I know the feeling I lost my dog last year on st. patricks day she was the only doggie I ever had.. and she was from when I was younger.. you know my mom never let us have a dog when we were little and she said it was because she had a dog when she was little and when it died she was still very young, and she said it was the hardest thing, and that she wanted us to be older when ours went so that it would be easier... well its never easy, I have tears in my eyes just thinking about my jasmine.. But it does get easier, over time. But you will always have a special place in your heart for coco.
