hey ladies! i'm new to the board, but have been reading these posts since my boyfriend proposed to me about a month ago. we plan on getting married next june. i'm super excited!!! anyway, thanks to all of you i have narrowed down my reception halls to four places: nassau county museum of art, sans souci, old field club, & the port jefferson country club. i'm leaning towards either old field or the museum of art. both are beautiful. i'm just having a little trouble. anyone have any input? anything would be much appreciated. again, thank you so much for all your help in the most important time of my life

First off, congrats and welcome! A friend of mine went to a wedding at the museum of art and she raved and raved and raved! I have no first hand experience with that place but it sounds beautiful!

The museum of art sounds like a great place to have a wedding although I've never been.

Congrats, We did alot of research and attended the Sans Souci as a guest and found the food and service to be far superior to the rest and booked the next day. We highly recommend the Sans Souci.

i havent been to any of those places, so i cant help you there, but LIWs made my search and decisions so much easier from a very indecisive bride i picked a place and booked in a week thanks to everyone on here.
