What a riot! Your ferret sounds like quite a character! My cat does the scratching at the bathroom/bedroom door to get in and he positively wails until we let him in! Also, whomever is the first to get up he BOLTS up the stairs making this jiggling-meowing sound! My mom says shes never heard anything like it!
