I disappeared from here for a while. I had some family crisis and needed to take a step back. I kind of pulled away from everything and everyone. I had my aunt and grandmother diagnosed with cancer within two weeks of each other. My aunt is going to be ok. My grandmother is terminal. I also pulled away from the group because I feel like I let everyone down with the shower but I was feeling so terrible about my family that I was considering calling off the wedding. My grandma convinced me not to though so I'm back to planning. I've been thinking about you girls since our year is so close.
Glad to hear from you!! Sorry to hear about your family. Its tough but I can relate due to everything with FFIL.
Don't feel bad about the shower at all! I'm glad you didn't call off the wedding and happy to have you back on the boards!!

I can't imagine how hard it must be to plan something happy in the wake of such bad news, but sometimes a happy event is just what you need to take everyone's mind off of things. So sorry to hear about your family. Glad your still going to continue planning your wedding with us. I don't think you let anyone down honestly we are all super busy planning and with holidays rapidly approaching and the first of the 2014 brides to have their weddings are right around the corner I think everyone has a lot going on. Glad to know your okay.
