I just wanted to say hi, I recently started reading these boards and am quickly becoming addicted! I got engaged May 28th on Robert Moses beach and am very excited to start planning! We haven't done too much except settle on a general timing of the wedding - Oct 06. We are planning to start looking at reception halls in July. We are thinking of looking at the places below. Does anyone have any input on any of these? We are planning on having a little over a 100 people and cost is a big concern for us.

I'm gettin married at Leonards on 8 11 06, for a friday nite, 110 pp.....i imagine in october it would be cheaper...included in ours is vienese hour, etc.
Im getting married right after Jeanine at Leonards on a Saturday for the same price.. The place is beautiful!!!

Hey, if you are looking for 10-14-06 then we are date wtins!!! Congratulations on your engagement and welcome to the boards!!!
I dont know much about the places you are looking at because we are having ours at Giorgios, but my only advice would be to book ASAP!! We were gonna wait too, and found out that if we had waited we would have missed out on our date. Get a move on, and book as soon as possible!!!

Hi - thank you all for your responses, much appreciated! We are going to start looking two weeks from now as FI is living upstate till the end of this year, so it's a bit hard to coordinate. BTW, how many places did you all look at before you made your decision?
