Hey there, parenting board folks!! I would like to join your ranks as hubby Bill and I got the news yesterday from my GYN that I am pregnant!! I took the EPT the day before which was positive, but wanted to wait for the blood test. DH doesn't think we should tell anyone yet (yeah, right - most of my family and friends know already! It's only his family I haven't told yet), so this is kind of my way of telling without him having any say in it!! LOL.
I am 38 (39 in August) and he will be 40 in a few weeks so we are soooo happy that it has happened!!! to everyone!

I am due December -- according to the calendar at www.pregnancy.org/pregnancycalendar, I am due December 6!!
Anyone have any suggestions for additional web sites? And I am going to get 'What to Expect When You Are Expecting'...actually, just yesterday I finally received that Fertility book everyone was raving about!!

Congratulations!! I like Your Pregnancy, Week to Week. I also have What to Expect.. but Your Pregnancy is broken down by weeks...I think it is more informaitonal...

I also like Your Pregnancy Week By Week. Also, if you go to Babycenter.com or Ivillage, there are due date clubs where you can chat with all December mommies-to-be. You'll also get emails every week to tell you how you and your baby are progressing. Oh yeah, Pregnancy Weekly too. I'm signed up for like 10 of them!!

'A Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy' - very real book about being pregnany, kinda like a conversation you would have with your BF
'Thinking Woman's Guide to Birth' - great for reviewing various birthing options.
