Hey there, parenting board folks!! I would like to join your ranks as hubby Bill and I got the news yesterday from my GYN that I am pregnant!! I took the EPT the day before which was positive, but wanted to wait for the blood test. DH doesn't think we should tell anyone yet (yeah, right - most of my family and friends know already! It's only his family I haven't told yet), so this is kind of my way of telling without him having any say in it!! LOL.

I am 38 (39 in August) and he will be 40 in a few weeks so we are soooo happy that it has happened!!!

Thanks for the good wishes. Yesterday we went to Borders and I got the 'Girlfiends Guide...' - Started it last night and it is HYSTERICAL, I love it!! I also got something else more 'formal', can't remember the name, and a DVD for Pre-Natal Yoga (I have trouble sleeping and thought this might help).
I made DH pick out a 'serious' book for himself too, although as soon as I turned around he was looking at the racing car mags!

No morning sickness yet, I feel totally normal. Of course I am only 1 month pregnant, so I guess I will have to wait and see what baby has in store for me!

Congratulations to you and your husband from another AMA mom (did the doctor tell you what that means yet? Advanced maternal age - nice, huh? We do get a lot more sonograms though!)
