Hi Everybody, I'm Back!!
Did anybody miss me??
Well our long weekend in Connecticut went well. DH had a tough time at his mom's funeral. We heard a lot of stories about his mom and what a wonderful woman she was and all the things she did in her life and that was all great to hear but it really upset DH as he had this feeling like he didn't even know his mom. Her service was beautiful. We also met a lot of DH's moms family that he hadn't seen since he was 5. It is such a small world, one of his cousins lives right around the corner!! Needless to say, we have a lot of BBQ's planned with his cousins this summer.
After his moms funeral we headed off to Foxwoods and our Bingo weekend that we had planned for months!! I didn't win but DH won $1000 in Bingo, so I guess I did win![]()
. Our friend also won $550 and our other friend won $750 at the slots. I was the only total loser. ![]()
All in all it was a weekend full of different emotions and we are extremely tired!!! Didn't get to sleep too much at all this weekend and were so happy to finally get home late last night and sleep in our own beds!!
