Hi Everyone................

Just thought I'd check in. I went to the ADA's office and without saying too much, I WILL say that the family is NOT happy.
The laws for Drunk Driving STINK. It's ridiculous how much they get away with.
You take someone's life and you basically get a slap on the wrists

I'm very upset. It's just not fair.
I will fill you in more in a couple of weeks after the first court case, when I can speak in more detail.

I agree Lizlen many of the laws in this area leave much to be desired -

I hear that, Liz. It's amazing that the criminal gets all these rights, but no one seems to be concerned with the VICTIM, except of course for the family left behind!

Although its not much of a consolation, I firmly believe that what goes around comes around. They will suffer for what happened, one way or another.

I agree Liz. This is exactly why I was president of SADD back in high school. Has always been a cause near and dear to me. Especially when wonderful people like you are personally affected. Makes me so mad.
