My name is Erica and I am not engaged yet but will be within the next few weeks (hopefully). My boyfriend I think is buying the ring this weekend and has already asked my parents permission.
I LOVE weddings and have been checking out this site for a while trying to get ideas. Just wanted to get your opinions on if getting married July 10, 2010 is possible since I am not officially engaged yet. I know so many people book very far in advance so I am kinda worried about that.
I really love North Ritz and Ventian Yacht Club.
Any help you can provide is great!

WELCOME!!!! The only advice I can give you is to call the places and ask them if they have that date available. You don't have to give any information to them and they get these calls all the time. I would definitely get on top of that! My friend is getting married this July and started planning her wedding last June and ran into a lot of problems with halls and vendors being booked. Good Luck!

its def possible to do July 10, 2010 since your still over a year away. Plenty of people plan weddings in that time frame.
some vendors on LI book up quick so I will say that you might have to be a little more flexible when picking vendors if that is the date you are set on.

Well July is a popular month, so you might want to call the places you have your eyes set on just to make sure they have the date available.

it doesn't hurt to even go there and get the info....i know it sounds a little crazy but I knew I was getting engaged as well and me and my mom were already RH shopping b4 I got engaged!

Welcome and congrats! The only way you will know if having your wedding at either of these places is to call them and see if they have that date available. Planning is way fun and this site is so helpful!

hi erica!! welcome! (and congrats soon!!) you can def plan for a july wedding you just have to hurry and book all major vendors asap, if you have your heart set on certain vendors you may have to change your date a little
