hi everyone & any on Fox Hollow?

Hi everyone!! Wanted to introduce myself. I’m kind of new to the boards. Been reading for about a month, just started posting. Was going to wait till I had a hall & a date but I just couldn’t wait. Got engaged in Oct & have just started my planning in the last few weeks. I am close to booking with Fox Hollow for Sept or Oct of 2012. Was wondering if anyone had any advice or pointers for negotiating at contract signing to get some extras. Also, any feedback good or bad on Fox Hollow would be great. Thank you.

i am having my wedding at fox hollow in march 2012.... was looking at Oct.... what would you like to know ask me questions and i will look in my folder to see if i hav the info

I always tell people when you are talking with vendors ask for what you want. What is the worst thing that they can say... No.

the winter garden pavilion. love the romantic feeling with the glass ceiling. Plan on having tons of candles. My other choice was flowerfield, but I don't plan on having that big of a wedding

I am getting married there in Aug 2012! Can't wait.. it's GORGEOUS!

I don't really have any advice as I've just started planning myself but I wanted to say I've been to a wedding at Fox Hollow and it was gorgeous! Congrats and welcome to our boards!!

I actually loved that room!! But the deal braker for me was the fact that that big room is right down the hall and you share a bathroom. IDK that just bothered me so much. But I agree that room is so different and almost worth it.

When you sit down to do the contract just tell them what you want. Thats when we ended up getting alot thrown in.

We booked the Somerley at Fox Hollow for May 2012. They were willing to throw in extras. Definitely just ask for what you want. Most places are willing to please you!!

I didn't book Fox Hollow but my experience was great there. The BM, Jennifer, was super sweet and the prices were reasonable. Good luck

I'm getting married there in the Garden and then my reception is in the Garden Terrace room in July 2012. It's gorgeous and David, the BM is the best. I've called a couple of times to ask questions, done multiple visits, and to be honest.. the place just feels like home.

One thing that also really helped us in choosing was the proximity to a beautiful hotel. We love the fact that our guests can just walk across their private street at the end of the night or right before the ceremony.
