Hi everyone!! Wanted to introduce myself. I’m kind of new to the boards. Been reading for about a month, just started posting. Was going to wait till I had a hall & a date but I just couldn’t wait. Got engaged in Oct & have just started my planning in the last few weeks. I am close to booking with Fox Hollow for Sept or Oct of 2012. Was wondering if anyone had any advice or pointers for negotiating at contract signing to get some extras. Also, any feedback good or bad on Fox Hollow would be great. Thank you.

Re: hi everyone & any on Fox Hollow?
Go with it. I just typed a recent angry post about them because of a situation i had but honestly, they handled the problem. I would not want the issue to discourage you. i would say to book Fox Hollow. They have really great reviews. Their food is out of this world and the benefits of enjoying your complimentary suite in the inn with breakfast makes it all worth wild. A lot of places do not have hotels and many don't even give you a suite for just marrying there. They are also very serious about what they provide. I recently had an issue with my room and very quickly, the owners contacted me and were able to help my situation. I say Fox Hollow!

Welcome!
We looked at Foxhollow and loved the place. The only drawback for us was we needed to take I believe the garden room. We had a major problem with the location of the room. The rest rooms were downstairs and around the corner. We had Grandma in a wheelchair and would need to go outside - in winter and around in order to get their elevator for her to use the rest room. It didn't work for us so we had to pass.
Good luck!

Re: hi everyone & any on Fox Hollow?
i'm a HORRIBLE negotiator so I can't give any tips on that lol!! But I did book there and i love it!! I'm getting married there aug 11 2012 in the Garden Terrace (big room). MY FH & I brought my inlaws there to show them and they loved it!!! We're excited. We also ate dinner in the restaurant just to make sure we liked the food (PS if you do this, tell your bridal manager bc we got free drinks).
However, despite what anyone tels you, In the end it all comes down to what YOU like!!!

I must say that when I went to reception halls, I specifically asked about hanicap access because my uncle is in a wheelchair. They do have wheelchair access in the Garden Terrace! It's just hidden. It's a private bathroom in the bridal suite hallway, but it's the first door on the right.

I was quoted for July 7th 2012 $99 pp not including tax and grat for the WGP room. I do think it is a beautiful room, but I didn't like the multi wedding at a time situation.
