Hello!!! Just wanted to check in from our mini-moon in East Hampton! Our wedding was Sunday and it was an awesome day! We had a gorgeous night- the band was ridiculously amazing (Dexter Lake Club Band), the florist exceeded my expectations (Andrew Pascoe), and our DOC (Fairy Tale Events) was so helpful and was a lifesaver; for someone who didn't know what a DOC was for before, I really learned our lesson!
I'll do a full review soon but wanted to share a few pics and two funny/weird stories:
1. While we were taking pictures in Madison Square Park, I put my arm down and was stabbed by my dress! Apparently the Kleinfelds seamstress SEWED an alterations pin into the seam of my dress! It took a bridesmaid making a makeshift thimble to get it out of my dress! She ripped the underlayer a bit to get it out but how ridiculous is that! Kleinfelds will be getting a call from me when I'm home!
2. It took my DH not one, not two, but THREE times to break the 'breaking glass'! The first time it didn't break, the second time it shot out of the bag and under the table near the rabbi's foot and finally on the third time broke! Jewish ladies, if you are going to buy the breaking glassthat goes into a mezuzzah after wedding, know that your groom may have some trouble with it!

Ha, no! Well maybe my photographer did as it took about 5 minutes of our picture time to figure out how to remove it! My bustle also broke the as soon as it was buttoned it and that same amazing bridesmaid also sewed that up quickly.

We enjoyed mini-moon it but rain did change our plans both day! I get to spend the 2nd half of mini moon alone on the beach though as he leaves to go back to city tomorrow . At least I'm not going back!

And certainly speak up about the dress! That is dangerous- what if it poked your eye or scrapped you face while putting on the dress??
