Hi Girls ! Back from Lake George ! =)

We just got back today (and here I am on LIW )

We had lots of fun. The weather was GORGEOUS all 6 days. I heard the weather was crummy down here, thank GOODNESSS it wasnt the same @ Lake George.

The kids had lots of fun. We took them to the Amusement Parks, arcades, on the steamboat ('Minnie Ha-Ha'), it felt like July weather. We all totally LOVEDDDD Lake George village, and plan to go again and again and again and again !!

GOOD TO BE BACK ! MISSED MY LIW FIX !

My 2 & 4 year old nieces are obsessed with John, its the cutest thing, they have to hold his hand, sit with him, SHOW HIM everything, (their hair in a clip, their new clothes, their freshly bathed little bodies running around the room, how they helped the infants (JA & their brother)... it was adorable. I told my BIL to just hand over the adoption papers, LOL 6 days of 'look john, I love you john, I wanna sit next to john, john I love you, john WOOK WOOK'

and I thought ZIA was their favorite ! Theyre even on a first name basis, forget ZIO John, its now John, LOL.

We stayed at the Best Western, no biggie, but it was the only hotel we called that would allow us all to stay in one room/suite. We had a huge 2-level suite, kitchenette, living rm, etc etc. It was perfect.
I think next time I would wanna stay at one of the little motels right on the main street in the village.
We were only a mile down the road, but I like to be in the heart of it all ! Its really hard to judge anything from the internet. You see the word 'motel' and you think 'yuck' but all the motels were adorable and right in the village.
The BW's website said 'in the heart of Lake George Village' so there I went, LOL.

I wouldnt go before Memorial Day again. It was a bit on the 'Dead' side. Alot of stores were closed, the Great Escape was open on the weekend, so we spent a whole long day there. We went to several kids parks, walked by the water. We did luck out and we were there for the Great Boat Race weekend, the lake was jam packed, the guys (DH and BIL) LOVEDDD watching the boat races, the strip was packed with flea market vendors, and the weather was incredible all 6 days.

Thats about my review.
We ate at a few places, good and bad:
Adirondacks Steakhouse LOVED IT
CAPRI PIZZA - GREAT FOOD - nasty workers! (had a little tiff there)
REMINGTONS Steakhouse - yuck-too salty, we sent back like 3-4 dishes, it was DRENCHED IN SALT!
Chinese rest - 4got the name- great.
cant rmember any others right now.

I cant wait to go back! We're even thinknig this summer!
