Ugh where do I start, ok we never made a set date because we are trying to save more money- our attempt is for next year- well here is the kicker, first we decided to have a sep 04 wedding- then we decided to bring it up earlier because we want to start a family right away, well now 2 of the girls I wanted in my BP are pregnant and due in march and april, the months we decided to go with. Do I still ask them? Of course my stepsister is a definate but I feel that with the dress and fittings and then not accurate fittings , is it too much stress for them? Im soooooo confused.

ask them if you want them - they mightnot even feel up to it while preganant but leave it up to them! thewy have tons of nice dresses for pregnant girsl now too.....

I would ask them and let them decide. If they say no, at least you had asked them.
Just curious if you have booked anything yet. I'm almost in your boat & I feel so nervous. We are not even officially engaged & he/we are set on a July 2004 wedding (but have nothing booked).

Pregnant Bridesmaids are nothing new. It's happened a million times before, and will continue to happen for a long time.
Any seamstress worth her salt knows exactly how to handle this issue.
I am not advocating David's Bridal, but I do know they carry a line of maternity bridesmaid dresses.

Nope we are not 'officially' engaged yet either, I know anyday now- heehee we have openly spoke about it, we feel you need to these days. We have lived together for 2 1/2 yrs. We have not booked ANYTHING, so I will be a little nutty when we start the official planning. I will ask them, its just the last month of their pregnancy and I want to be sensitive to their feelings, I really care about them. And I totally understand if they cant do it either. I just didnt want them to feel uncomfortable or pressured - I hear that last month is miserable.

Ask them they may say no but you cant revolve your day around people who are pregnmanyt,. If she can be in it i'm sure she will but you have to do whats right for you. I'm sure they'll understsand

I completely agree. Becasue they are important to you, definitely ask them (they will be touched) and let them decide.

I would ask them and let them make the decision. Also, I would check around at catering halls you are interested in soon if you are looking at Marcha or April...

If their due dates are that close to your wedding they may not be able to be in your bridal party even if they want to. And, they might not be able to be at the wedding at all. You should consider how much you want a particular date vs how much you'd like these women at your wedding.
