...that Alyssa was finally released from the hospital on Wednesday. Of course, the first night me and my husband didn't sleep a wink because we were constantly checking her to make sure she was ok. ( I guess that is typical for parents and was probably even more so because she was a preemie and had a couple of little set-backs in NICU at the hospital.)
Alyssa is doing very well. Me and my DH are still trying to get used to juggling all our regular household duties along with being parents now.Although sometimes we feel like zombies because of the lack of sleep, its all totally worth it.

Sleep when she sleeps...
the zombie like feeling will probably last for two months..until she figures out day from night...

dont worry about keeping a clean house...time to take up friends' offers to help you

let them run a wash for you, or vaccum, go grocery shopping, go to the post office, etc
