does the cresent have a website of pictures? I think I've heard of it.
And no there is nothing wrong with russos I even said my fiance likes it, its just for 200 a plate i think there is nice halls, ones that dont look like a factory on the outside and dont have alot of weddings at once. but as you guys say that is jmo.
Well you insulted me bc I am having my reception there and maybe there are nicer halls Everyone thinks where they are having their wedding is the nicest place. You should really be less offesive when you post!
and they have maybe 2 at a time.. and that is busy season!
Good luck if you don't get $$ from the familglia!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ronnie & Theresa,
I went to Russo's on the Bay the other day for a day-long company seminar & had breakfast & lunch there! It's soooo nice, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVED the long cocktail hour room.
I never looked, because it was out of my budget, but it's gorgeous!
However, to each his own, right? I know some people think the Fox Hollow is too reserved, but that's ok with me!

Right to each their own... But to make fun and insult those of us who chose Russo's is not NICE at all!!!
Thanks I can't wait to have the coctail and Vitnese in that room!

Try Chateau Briand in Westbury. I booked the Saturnia room. Scotto Brothers will give you a beautiful wedding and reception. They also own Westbury Manor, Fox hollow inn and Watermill( I think ). Anyway best of luck, welcome aboard. If you have any questions, forward me.

Russos on the Bay is beautiful. They will give you a beautiful wedding. The same owners of Russo's own 'Giardanos' in Douglaston. It is great for a bridal shower.

Re: Hi - Im new!
Its just that my fiances family is italian and everyone talks about everyone else
I hear ya on that one Kim! FH's family is the same way!
If you are lucky enough to have family pay for it, you will have no problems finding a beautiful hall. You got some great suggestions here already. As you can see, most of us are partial to our place (and some are quite defensive too! ). You'll just have to find what suits you.
Even if you pay for it yourselves, you can certainly find a less expensive, but beautiful place to have your wedding.
Good luck!

I also say $200 a plate b/c alot of people I know were telling me I cant get married for much cheaper then that at a nice hall. and I dont want to get married someplace cheesy.
Holy cow there are TONS of places for a wedding under $200 a place that are not cheesy at all!
YOu'll be very pleasantly surprised I think!
And Congrats, too! Welcome and enjoy your planning!
