Hi i'm new

Just wanted to say hi. I just got engaged and I am new to the boards. I just picked a date that I would prefer but haven't done anything else yet. Does anyone know of any showcases comming up at Nassau or suffolk county halls?

I dont know of any showcases, but congratulations on yoru engagement!!! You'll find so much info on these boards. If there are vendors you are intersetd in, juts ask or do a search..you'll find so mnay answers!! Good luck and welcome!!!

Welcome.. Dont forget to check out the 2004 board.

We have a group of 2004 brides (and a few FH) meeting in October to swap ideas..

For hall ideas.. you should first have an idea how big you want your wedding to be. How much you're willing to spend per person. Do you want a beach or country club or any other ideas for a place to have it? Then search away. I used a magazine I picked up at Barnes and Nobles to see all the venues in Long Island.. I can't remember the name right now. I'll try to go find it and get the name.
