Hi fellow LI brides! I am new to this board, have been lurking for the past 2 months since I got engaged. I have finally started to look for a RH. I have appointments with a few places this weekend and just wanted some of your opinions.
I am inviting 180 guests, but I know not all will show up, so I am telling RH's that its going to be about 150, does that sound right? I am looking to spend no more than $120 pp for a Saturday night in October (date is flexible).
So far these are my choices:
Leonard's (which I'm not super thrilled about) Swan Club Crest Hollow Fox Hollow Woodbury Country Club Westbury Manor
I really wanted North Ritz Club, but their minimum was too high for me.
I would greatly appreciate your thoughts! Which RH would you recommend? I am not really picky on the hall.. but just want it to be pretty and won't cost too much.
Thanks!

Re: Hi I'm new! and I need help choosing a RH
I am partial to NRC - call them and try to work something out!!!! They may be able to lower their minimum?!
Aside from NRC, from your list we looked at Fox Hollow and for a sat night with all the extras (seafood, VH, etc) we were given a quote of about $200pp. We didn't look at any others.
Why not try Jericho Terrace or Sand Castle!?
I would def try to negotiate the minimum with NRC first though.

I will try and get in touch with NRC again. WOW Fox Hollow was at $200pp? thats a bit over my budget!
After everyone's comments and suggestions,, I'm going to Jericho Terrace tonight to check it out. Sand Castle is beautiful, but a good friend of mines got married there recently.
Thanks!

yeah we were shocked at fox hollow because I heard of some family getting much cheaper prices......maybe it was the Sat night and the additions we asked for? not really sure - doesn't hurt to pass by and ask though! It is a gorgeous place!

I think you shoudl check out Larkfield Manor in East Northport. I LOVE it!!! Everyone who works there is extremely friendly the food tastes sooooo good! I have only heard great reviews from past bride. They should be in your price range.
