what exactly are you looking for help on? halls? I think you need to call the halls to see if they are open in aug or july and if youre willing to spend 200 pp try flowerfields, oheka and the carltun otherwise the city the essex house is in that ballpark too.

Check out The Garden City Hotel, the Cartlon The Harrison house, Carlye on the Green and Glen Island Harbor club. They are all in that range . I am curious to know what happened at Russo's (i live in HB and just had my E-party there) FM me if you feel like it.

Everyone is suggesting halls around your price range, but there are many below that as well. You can also probably have a little bargaining power if they have a date available since it's kind of 'last minute' in terms of planning. Honestly, what you need to do is pick up the phone and start calling any and all halls you may be interested in a see if they have any dates available. Unfortunately the date is going to be more of a deciding factor at this point than price or location. Good luck on the search, let us know how it tunrs out!

I would suggest checking out http://www.weddingfacilitiesandservices.com/. It lists tons of halls by price range, location, etc.

How about Vanderbilt Mansion in Oakdale or any of the 'Lovi'nOven Celebrations' other places - The place is amazing and beautiful!! I feel like they have a place for every style.....Flowerfields is beautiful - my friend went to a wedding there and fell in love with the place, now she is getting married there.........Land's End was the first place I found and instantly fell in love with the place and knew this was the place I wanted to have my reception until I found out I would not be able to garauntee the amount of people for any day - (a friend of mine went to a wedding at Land's End and said it was the best wedding she has ever been too - she's 50 yrs. old and has been to MANY weddings in her years) that's how I found out about the Vanderbilt Mansion and ABSOLUTELY LOVED the mansion the first time I went there (more than Land's End) - I knew it was the place and didn't bother looking anywhere else...........they have another place I think called West Lake Inn but I have no idea where it is or anything about it and I am almost positive they used to do the catering for 200 fifth club but not anymore - they cater for Apogee Event’s Tribeca in Manhattan.......and of course their baked goods and cakes come from Audrey's Bakery! I have only readabout one bride on here who was not 100% satisfied with her cake....overall JMO, they deserve a grade of A!!!!!
But, it doesn't matter what I say you have to visit places and see what you like! Every bride is different as we can see on this great board - but as reputation goes I believe Lovi'nOven has an amazing one.
Good Luck on your search! Hope you find something soon
