Just wanted to introduce myself, I'm Alison, My fiance is John, we just got enagaged September 14th! Looking forward to planning and chatting with everyone!
We are actually hoping to book something in March, I know its very soon, but we are determined to pull this off.....
Does anyone have price quotes they can message me for places in MARCH of 2012 that are UNDER $90 per person so I can try to narrow down my list that i am making of places to make appts with next week? I would really appreciate any help!

I don't have quotes for you, since I looked for next Sept..but since March isn't a busy wedding month, you should be able to find plenty of great places in your price range. I'd recommend looking for a Fri night. Good luck and have so much fun!!!

As for reception halls, I'm not really a good person to ask that question either. But if I recall, I remember Riveria in Massapequa being very reasonable. Also Cresthollow Country Club (we were close with booking with them!) and Woodbury Country club were good prices and could probably negotiate under $100. All beautiful places!

I can't help you with RH's bc I looked for Sept, Oct and Nov but I'm sure in March you will be able to find something for around that price range!

Yayyy!! Congratulations!!! I totally joined LIW 2 days after I got engaged too!!
For RH's is depends what type of look your going for. You can find PLENTY of places within your budget, since A- March is not 'In Season', and B- You want to get married in 6 months, and either you book with them, or most likely it will go unbooked.
If you have any questions, just let us know. I'm getting married at the Fox Hollow in the Somerly Room on a Sunday in July and I'm paying less than $90 per person.

You should definitely check out Crest Hollow. You should be able to get a package in March for under 90 per person. I happen to be bias since I am getting married there but it is a beautiful place.
It will be easier for us to help you if you tell us what you think you are looking for. For example:
- Do you want to be the only wedding there? - On the water? - How many people are you thinking?

Welcome & Congrats!!!! Are you looking for only a Saturday evening? We booked Saturday daytime so that we would be able to stay under $100/person. I am not sure if March is considered off season or not.

I was at a bridal expo at the inn in new hyde park the other night and they were offering $90pp in march and april
but also check out the coral house, chateau briand and jericho terrace
