Hi Mommies, I need some help

My best friend is having her second baby on Friday!!! I can't wait to meet him!

Anyway, I am going to cook a whole bunch of dinners for her and her hubby so that they can just reheat and she doesn't have to worry about preparing dinner for awhile.

She has a 2 1/2 year old little girl and I was curious what to prepare for her. I know I have seen her eat fish sticks, chicken nuggets, some round potato things that have a smily face, do you have any other suggestions? I don't want to just drop off some fish sticks in a box, unless that is normal for a 2 1/2 year old. Or do you think I should just prepare for her husband and her and let her worry about her daughter?

Any advice that you could give me I would really appreciate.

TIA!

mac and cheese that can just be re-heated.

My son eats alot of what we eat so she may be fine with the food you are preparing for them as well. Lukie does love chicken soup. I give him egg noodles, carrots, celery, onion, chicken and just a little broth so he can eat it with a fork (or his hands most of the time)

That is a great idea as a gift to your friend. Visiting with a gift is nice, but a bunch of home cooked meals so she doesnt have to worry about it or order take out alot, is priceless! Especially with an older toddler too. She'll be thrilled.

Well, she called me and they are not inducing her tomorrow, so luckily that gives me the weekend to cook up a storm. She is really do next Friday but they thought they were going to induce her but now they are not, so maybe we will meet the little guy by next weekend!!

Thank you all for your advice

Her and her hubby's favorite is sausage and peppers, so I am making that, Chicken Cassarole, Baked Ziti and I wanted to think of one more thing, I am not sure yet. Any suggestions?
