Im just curious but wouldn't people wait till close to the shower to buy gifts off the registry. I don't think people will buy gifts till my shower invites go out.

People don't necessarily wait. We got gifts for LAST Christmas off our registry, and our birthdays, and again this Christmas already. I might have to add stuff for the shower.

We got holiday packages in the mail from Williams & Sonoma so I went on the registery and figured out what it is.

Then I told FH.

Right before my E-party I was looking at it nonstop. I even worked for a while at one of the stores I was registered at and every lunch break I would take a peek to see if anyone bought me anything the following day!
Then I learned at my E-party most people don't realise to tell the cashier that you are buying things off a registery and that it can be marked on record. But its kinda nice not knowing, it leave the surprise. Hopefully no one double orders!
