I hate cold weather but this is not good at all. Look what happened last week when the ancient ice block in canada just BROKE OFF!!! it was 41 miles long...It even drifted away and formed its own island...THis is already causing problems. Plus not to mention that greenland is just getting smaller and smaller because of all the ice melting, not a good sign at all. Small islands are already getting flooded and many will be gone in the next few years. Even scientists are surprised at how fast it is happening.
They are saying parts or all of Long island will be under water and parts of manhattan because of the Global Warming issue and California. You have to watch AL Gores Movie on Global Warming it will scare you.

it is very weird, but since i am getting married tomorrow I am happy we aren't in the middle of a blizzard.

Exactly what I was thinking. Not good at all. I am not a fan of snow or the cold, but it is not good when its January and 70 degrees outside.
I'm not complaining one bit...i wish it were warmer.

I agree, while I love it also (I hate cold and snow for more than a day or so because I am originally from FL) but I am very concerned about global warming. I believe these are the first signs of the bad events that are about to come....We are killing this planet, all to save a little $$$ and make even more off oil. Gimme a break, is destroying the very land we live on worth it? Oil and money wont matter once this place is gone, doesn't the government realize that? Bunch-a ignorant, greedy idiots if you ask me.

Yeah it is freaking me out a bit.... I just hope it is a fluke thing and things will go back to normal next year... I hope!
i hate how everyone is saying how they enjoy this weather. are you not aware of whats happening around you? is a tan more important than this island sinking right under your feet? i wish people were more educated when it came to important issues like this rather than if it'll rain on your wedding day, or if you'll get the best tan.
