I always thought I wanted a low centerpiece so our guests could see across the table - but I have seen so many beautiful high centerpieces I am beginning to second guess myself. The low centerpieces I discussed with my florist will be very full and sound gorgeous - but, I don't know...
I am already past what we wanted to spend on the wedding - and changing to high will definitely add to the bill - but should I reconsider?

Re: High or Low Centerpieces
Do you have high ceilings in you reception hall? I do and thought that low centerpieces would get lost. We are doing high ones.

I agree! we have high ceilings and chose to do high centerpieces.what if you just did tall vases with flowers in it that way its not too over the top or expensive..

Jeez! I don't even remember how high or low the ceilings are! Then again, I forget what my dress looks like too! I should probably check it out.
Thanks for the advice!

Mine are low. I just like the look of low CP's better.

Who says you can't have both. I had 7 low and 7 high. It looked so nice and very romantic since they both had candles at different heights.

You can do a mixture of both which looks beautiful. I am having High CP jus tbecuase I am liek them better. But I've seen so many gorgeous low CP - Im sure once you see your sample you are going to love them.

Re: High or Low Centerpieces
Our cielings aren't low but they're also not high enough to do high centerpieces without it looking cluttered. We had already decided on low when we looked at the room again Wednesday night. We're glad we made the choice we did.

We are doing half and half...Our high CPs are a little more expensive than the low ones, so this was a good way to cut costs.

I'm doing low ones. I love high ones though, if we had fewer tables, I would've went that route.

Re: High or Low Centerpieces
i like low.. except mine is in a 5'5'5 square vase - only about a half a foot off the table (if that makes sense)??
