I am worried! A bride, LMFitz, gave High Voltage a bad review!!!

Haven't seen it. But if he only has 1 bad review out of 1000. Not sweating the small stuff here. I have total confidence in Vinny!

theres always the chance something can go wrong or theres a bad review, but in comparison to how many rave reviews he has gotten i wouldnt worry about it. Talk to him if you have any concerns or questions.

it wasn't the first i've seen but it was the first where the name was mentioned-- others have said, FM please. i'm sure all companies have negative reviews i just hope he does the right thing by everyone who already has him booked, esp my 07ers!!!!

Ive been so impressed with Vinny so far. I have no worries.

I emailed him about getting CH music and he said to double check with my hall -- that they might provide, he wanted to save me money. That is just delicious in a vendor!

Maybe he was just having a bad day..
just to let you know though.. all dj's tell u to ask your hall if they provide the music for CH. Most halls have the sound system built in and they provide it.. just an FYI.

It's like Michelle said above...once in a while a vendor will get a bad review...

In addition, you have to remember, there are always THREE sides to a story....

I havent seen it but we are all human and may have a bad day or a difference in opinion- what might have been bad to her might have been good to someone else- we all booked vinny bc we trust him and his talent and we look foward to having him as part of our day...... dont second guess yourself because of someones opinion.... and like someone said above me there are always three sides to a story!!!

Don't get mixed up in that just pick what you like. I heard bad reviews about my photographer but I liked them and they gave me an offer I could not refuse. Just be confident in your choice.

Has anyone been having a hard time getting in touch with Vinny? I have been contacting him for a month and a half to get an updated contract. Three times he told us it was in the mail and we have yet to see it! I am getting nervous!!!

He's emailed me a couple of times this week. I had a hard time getting a contract from him but he was really busy and eventually sent it.

He's very trustworthy, I wouldnt worry!

I agree....if you read something negative about a vendor you have, the best thing to do is bring it up and give them a chance to explain. Tackle it head on and voice your concerns......once they know you are aware of a potential problem, they should take the right steps to ensure that you won't have a similar experience....good luck!

Sorry to drop in on your board...

I just read that review as well and am a bit nervous as I booked Vinny for our wedding. I am starting to calm down though b/c I think I freaked b/c I hadn't read anything bad about him before so this stuck out like a sore thumb. It's a vendor I didn't have much hesitation about at all.

One bad review doesn't a bad DJ make.

As a side note, I had attended a wedding at the Crescent Beach Club last month and the DJ of that wedding also had a bit of a feedback issue as well - I chalked it up to the DJ due to a lot of other issues - but maybe it seems strange that two different DJs at the same place has the same problem.

Just so you girls know.... Vinny DIDN'T do that wedding!! He wasn't there personally. But not for nothing, she should have been specific as to what guy of Vinny's did do her wedding. I won't say who, but if your that unsure, then speak with Vinny himself. I hate seeing everyone jump to conclusions over this girls review!!

For the record - it was Matt. That said, I loved working with Vinny - that's why I was so shocked and disappointed. My assumption was that whomever he sent in his place would be qualified and up to his standards.

Also, I asked LIW about listing his name - and they said it was fine. I wouldn't have done it without permission.....and I spoke with Vinny, and he told me to be honest....so I was.

All in all - it's just a slight smudge on an otherwise amazing day!
