Has anyone seen both of these DJ's in action and if so given the choice which one is better?

Re: High Voltage Sounds vs Tommy Tunes
I would (and did) choose High Voltage. I saw Tommy Tunes at a showcase after I had already booked High Voltage, and nothing I saw impressed me to any extent, or in any way shape or form made me second guess my decision.

Re: High Voltage Sounds vs Tommy Tunes
Can't say I saw both. But I booked Vinny from High Voltage for my wedding in June. This past August he DJ'd a backyard party for FH's birthday, not the same thing I know, but with very little direction on what we wanted he did a fantastic job.
Honestly when I sat down with Vinny I knew he was the right person for the job, such a nice guy, knowledgeable, great reviews from this board as far as what I was looking for.
Good luck!

I'm using Tommy's Tunes. They did my friend's wedding and were fabulous...I'm using the same DJ and MC to ensure it is the same style. I've seen them at several other events as well and am confident I made a good choice. I've never seen High Voltage, but have heard great things. Vinny was booked for my day.

Tommy Tunes. I just met with Tommy today and finalized them for my wedding and he is awesome to work with. I have been to 3 or 4 functions and they don't compare to any other DJ I have seen. You can't go wrong with them!!!

They both have very good reviews (and both have a couple detractors). I would meet with both and make your decision from there. It really depends on your style. We were booked with Vinny from High Voltage but had to cancel for personal reasons. He is really laid back and is willing to do whatever you want. TT is a different vibe. Their prices vary greatly so I would check out both.
