Anyone meet with both of these guys and have opinions? I have a crowd I need to get on the dance floor preferably without the YMCA and the conga line. Anyone have ideas as to who would be better?

don't know High Voltage, but IMO - TOmmy Tunes is the best!

Both have great reputations! I would do a search! I only have seen Tommy's Tunes in action and they were awesome!

we went to visit w/ both dj's, we picked tommys tunes, hands down, not even close IMO. vinny was very sweet and his prices were out of this world, but was just not what we were looking for, we are also using tommys sinatra singer gene, which was another major selling point. there is a huge difference in price but thus far I am very happy w/ my decision.

ive heard that Vinny has actually subbed in for some tommy tunes weddings...not sure how true that is

I met with both of them and definitely would say Vinny. It really depends on the type of wedding you would like. For me, although the music is the most important part, I'm not into all the extra stuff that Tommy Tunes offers (everything from arcade machines to balloon animals :) Vinny sells himself by excellent customer service, never selling you a package you don't need, and giving you exactly what you are looking for.

between the 2, I would recommend Vinny. for one, he's less than 1/2 the price. and also, many brides on here have used him and were very happy.
why pay more?

We had Tommys Tunes for our wedding, and they were amazing. Joe Erico was our MC. They are the best in my opinion.

I'm using vinny. He was the only DJ we met with and we booked him on the spot. I've only heard great things about him.

I booked Tommy Tunes and I told them before I booked that I didn't want any songs like YMCA or the Macarena either. He told me that wouldn't be a problem and he had some great ideas. He told us about the 'anniversary dance' which we had never heard about. We'd been to a couple of DJ's but we booked Tommy Tunes on our first visit.
