I am getting married Aug. 27. Going to Florida Aug, 10 - 15, should I get my highlights BEFORE the 10th or after the 15th.....If I get them before and I am in the sun in FL.....(which I am sure I will be) won't they get really really light? If I wait until after the 15th that gives me like 10 days until the wedding, is that too soon?
Suggestions PLEASE.

I was just on a cruise for a week and in the sun for a big portion of it... i dont think my hair got any lighter... i would get it done before you go that way you have time to get used to it... i dont think the sun in Fla will effect your hair that much...

Get them when you come back from Florida. and get a good trim also (just trim) Your hair will dry out in the sun, salt water, chorine, especially with bleach in it. Trust me, I am a highlight maniac

ditto!! definitely after your FLA trip - that way they're fresh and you haven't had 2 weeks worth of roots to grow in and the sun to dry it out.
