High/Low Centerpieces
Has anyone ever seen high and low centerpieces being alternated on the reception tables? Did it look ok, or ridiculous? Thanks, Carrie

I've seen it - I thought it looked great. It broke up the monotony of the room.
My parents were at a wedding where the centerpieces were at 3 different levels (low, high, and hanging from the ceiling). They said it looked gorgeous.
My sister got married at Flower fields 2 years ago...she used Spitz and Peck. They did such a great job with alternating centerpieces, that I am going to do it as well at Port Jeff CC.
It looks beautiful b/c sometimes high centerpieces ( which I absolutely love) can be a bit much, but with alternating you can have the best of both worlds!
I saw my reception hall all set up for a wedding and they had alternating centerpieces...it looked great!! It definitely breaks things up.
My sister alternated high and low. As long as you have alot of tables it looks great. I went to one wedding where they had 8 tables and it didn't look as good.
I had high & low and it looked beautiful. Spitz & Peck did a high arrangement with votive candles around the flowers and the low arrangement with 4 posts at different heights that towered over the flowers on the table that each had a pillar candle. It was very romantic looking - lots of candlelight with a lot of variety.
both the high and low were filled w/ plenty of flowers, so it still looked full.
Sara, If you don't mind me asking I would like to know what you got for what you paid. I'm still looking for a florist and spitz&peck is a house florist for my reception hall. Do you know if they do a wonderful job? Who do you recommend for me to meet when i make an appointment. This will help me alot.
