want to do high centerpieces but to be cost effective I was thinking of doing high/low. Has anyone seen or attend a wedding that use a mixture of both? How did it look?

Re: High/Low Centerpieces
I've seen them and they looked really good. It can definately work if you make sure that there is a common thing about both the high and the low. Like the color, or the flower.

Re: High/Low Centerpieces
Thank you so much, Steph
I wanted to do all high but it's just not in the budget. So, the florist suggested that I do a mixture of both. It's alittle cheaper

I actually like it better when you have the mixture.... too much of the same is not as dramatic. Go for it!! I think it looks great!

I've seen it and I think it looks great. I dont like everything so cookie cutter matchy looking. I think I want to do that too - high branch centerpieces and low centerpieces with flowers in pumpkins.

Ive seen it and it looks wonderful. I went to a wedding that had high candel holders in red, then small ones in red on alternating tables... very nice!

Re: High/Low Centerpieces
I just priced a HIGH centerpiece that i liked... from one florist via e mail..just was curious....(and I know it's a florist that's on the expensive side but I know they made these high centerpieces.. so i figured I'd ask) $125 per centerpiece..and we are going to have prob 19-20 tables..... yea.. that's a bit out of my range
now granted i can get less elaborate.. HIGH centerpieces.....but was just going from the TOP OF WHAT I SAW AND LIKED and working my way down hehe

Re: High/Low Centerpieces
My sister did high and low centerpieces, her florist recommended it to her to save her some money. It looked great!! It gave the room a real nice look. I attached some pictures so you can see which two she did and how the were similar.
