HII new member !!!

Hii everyone ... im a new memeber .. my name is Sue my fiancee's name is Danny hence the user name

First off i want to say this is an incredible website.. i found to it too so helpfull even after a quick brouse.

We havent really set our wedding date but know it will be in 2008.. might seem like a long time from now but i want to get an early start and get to know whats out there. So far we have approx. 150 guests

So far the country clubs look fantistic for the reception. i have my heart sent on that look but to list a few halls that look fantistic are

Out of your list above - a few of them come VERY close...and the rest are completely out of range.

Leonard's of Great Neck - close
OHEKA Castle - out ($200 ++)
Jericho Terrace - close
crest hollow CC - close
Giorgio's - ??
FLOWERFIELD - ??
Fox Hollow CC - close
Hamlet Willow Creek Golf & Country Club - ??
Woodbury Country Club - ??

The Hamlets are at least 100pp with tax and gratuity. That is about 80pp with out. That price is for a Friday or Sunday night. I think prices have went up though. You would have to go talk to them. All the Hamlets are so nice!

Flowerfield, and Okeha are way over your price range. They are both very expensive.

Not sure about the others.

For your price range, you could look into the off months like Jan, Feb, or March. You can find alot of good deals.

Oheka Castle is $250-$400 pp plus a $10K site fee. Flowerfield is about $170 PP.

do u think leonards in great neck might be will be somewhere around my price range around (50-early 70s pp)


how about the country clubs? not restricted to the ones that i listed ....but maybe if anyone is familiar with a CC that has
nice grounds..
good food ...
helpful staff or a good package deal

the two that first caught my eye were crest hollow and fox hollow
