does anyone have any input on this? good/bad?? there prices are great and they've been in businees 23yrs. but i don't know anyone who used them. thanks!
My cousin used them for his first wedding and I didn't like his pictures at all. We went to see them and I really didn't like it.
was that a long time ago? maybe they got better! thanks for your input - i am getting so much advise from everyone - it's great!
I have to say that when i went to meet with them, I hated the guy. Besides, they sound cheap to start with, but you don't get your negatives...ever. And the albums were not that great. Shop around, I definitely think there are better photographers in his price range.
thanks - they are inexpensive but i wasn't sure of the quality. I was told I could purchase the proofs for about $100-200. Is that the same as negatives?
unfortunatlly i'm using them for my wedding because mine is a package deal and a month ago they switched photoghers, when i met the guy he was really cocky and the photos were nothing spectacular, i'm getting married in about a week i'll keep you posted.
the proofs are like a 3x5 of each picture..the negatives are what you get when your film is developed... if your looking for a cheap place did you check out queensbridal? or duetwedding?
I used Ariana Studios the photos were reasonably priced. Also if you do go to meet with them you ask for Ozzie as your photographer and let them show you some of his work. You can do a search for my wedding pics to see also.
Just so you know, most places just give you the proofs after all is said and done, and you can buy the negatives after a year at the worst. My photographer is giving us the proofs and the negs after the albums are done. If you don't have the negatives then down the road if you want to make a copy of a pic you can't. Noone will make copies of a photographers proof, only a negative.
wow - thanks everyone! I don't know what to do, but i will keep looking. I haven't been able to get a price quote under $1600.00 for what we want (one bride/groom album, one parent album, a few 8x10's and about 60 thank yous). I can't beleive I have been quoted up to $3700.00 for this! The hunt continues. I left a message last week for Queens Bridal but haven't heard back. I'll be calling around again tomorrow!
