Does anybody know anything about the Historical Chapel on Jericho Turnpike in woodbury? Or know anybody that has gotten married there?
My FH and I are looking for a church. Our church recently sold the building and temporarily meets at a college campus. So we have pastors but no church building. We are having sooooo much trouble finding a church to have our ceremony because most churches want you to use their own pastors. We just need a church building! Every place i've tried says no to bringing in our own pastors to perform the ceremony
Any suggestions???

I've never been inside, but just wanted to let you know that The wedding of the year ceremony took place there in January of 2005. You can view the video of the ceremony from the top thread on the BHB board that way you get a glimpse of what it looks like inside for now.

Sue, Matt and i went yesterday as a matter of fact and its really small and RIGHT on Jericho and the parking is bad. We booked the Interfaith Chapel on CW POst campus.

It's very pretty inside, but VERY small. I'd only do it if you're having under 100 people (100 max will fit inside) and you have a small BP. It's TIIIIIINY! It's $1000 I think to rent it.
We're probably going to go with C.W Post Interfaith Center

FYI about CW Post - I looked into it, and they told me that you can't get married there during school breaks because they are closed.
HC does only hold 100.
Therefore, we're getting married at our hall.....

They booked me for July 14 so i dont know if thats true about school breaks
