Any comments?

Re: Historical Chapel in Woodbury
I haven't but we just drove by yesterday to take a look and it's really small - probably good for up to 100 people. There was a post recently about people giving suggestions for that place. Sorry, not much help.

Re: How much is it to have a ceremony at The Historical chapel in Woodbury
Hello and Congratulations!
I don't really know too much about the business end of things there, but I did show a couple around on Saturday before one of my ceremonies and I can tell you what they were quoted.
The chapel comes with officiant (if you don't require a Priest which is an extra $100.00, then you usually get me) and an organist. The couple were quoted $1000.00 for a Friday at 3pm. I don't know if dates and times vary the price but this couple were both active military so they gave the $150.00 off and gave them a deal on the limos as well (Coachman has their office downstairs). They also have a guy that will shoot digital of the ceremony and some posed shots for $250.00. That's giving you the disc to print from yourselves.
As far as what kind of ceremony you can have there, You can have anything you want. Civil or religious, the chapel has no rules, they love anyone who is in love and respect what that means to you. I write with all my couples, and their Rabbi speaks 5 languages. 2 officiant ceremonies are more but I'm not sure of the $ amount.
Annette is there in the evenings and does most of the chapel stuff, Matt is the owner and has also been there a lot lately.
Hopefully this has been helpful. Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions or if there is anything else that I can do for you!
Wishing you both many healthy years of love and marriage, wisdom and wonder.

Any other people know about this place? I'm interested too. I saw one negative review about how the business end of booking was handled. Any other experiences?

I'm still waiting for the guy to get back to me..it just looked quaint (exactly what we want) we are only having around 85-100 people anyway and not everyone comes to the ceremony.
I'll let you all know when he gets back to me.

Thank you please do. My one problem is that I'd prob have more like 10-130 at the ceremony...might be too small...but i love the idea of doing it in a chapel and it's right down the street from my RH!

The guy emailed me back I am going to see when I can go look at it. He didn't give me any prices.
