HM- Bermuda Cruise out of NJ

My FI absolutely doesn't want to fly anywhere. We were thinking of a cruise out of this area (I think they leave from Bayonne). Has anyone done this? What cruise line? What was average cost? Did you find Bermuda beautiful and interesting?

I was looking into it. Depending on the time of year its only about 500-800 per person through norwegian or royal carribean. That's what we will be doing!

Me and FH took a cruise out of NY to Bermuda because he doesn't like to fly much either. We used Celebrity and we loved it. We have been on about 5 Celebrity cruises now and have loved everyone one of them.

Starting May 2006, Princess has a great cruise to the caribbean leaving from Brooklyn NY. (New cruise port), opens in May. Its also a brand new ship the Crown Princess.

I have been on a bunch of cruises (7 in total I think) and I have done Bermuda twice and Eastern, Western and Southern Caribbean. To be honest, Bermuda is by far my favorite out of all of the islands. It is beautiful. I believe that Royal Caribbean cruises out of NJ and Celebrity out of New York. I have used both cruise lines and would recommend both though Celebrity is my favorite. Good luck in deciding.
