what is considered dressy enough? is a skirt and knit top ok or does it have to be a dress with sandals?

Re: HM dinner attire...
It depends on where u will be and what type of honeymoon u are taking. For instance on a 7 day cruise, there are usually 2 formal nights, 2 semi formal and 3 casual. Where are u going?

Re: HM dinner attire...
In most resorts anything goes. I know I don't even own one summer type dress so when I go to resorts I normally wear skirts and tanks or capris and tanks. Even in the dressiest place I went to in Hawaii this was acceptable. For men some places would require ment o wear slacks but some don't. Dh just brought a couple pairs of pants and some short sleeved button downs for dressy places and wore khaki shorts and three button shirts for more relaxed restaurants.
i would bring a few casual dresses like floral ones and at least one dressy one just in case

when I went to Sandals, I wore sundresses most of the nights, except for the more formal places, and for the last night, which was the bon voyage dinner, I wore something a little dressy. It can go both ways, you get get awat with sundresses, and some people went very formal. Dress for what you are comfortable in. I would bring both.
