Ok, so I've been searching for resorts all day and it is beginning to drive me nuts. I thought I'd tell you ladies what we are looking for and hear your suggestions! Me getting off even a week is pushing it, so we are looking at Mon-Mon, so nothing too far (Hawaii and Europe are out). Want a serene, relaxing, smaller resort - think like the perfect places in the Maldives! All-inclusive with drinks is nice, as long as the food is up to par. Oh, and a private plunge pool. It's also hurricane season, so would like to stay out of the hurricane belt, but i'm not sure if I care about this anymore! Any thoughts on locations/resorts? Is this too much to ask??!

Look into a Sandals. We did Sandals Regency in St. Lucia. We had a great HM. This was our view from the room.
We went to the paradisius palma real in the dominincan republic a few years ago - it's an all inclusive is super romantic, and would make a great HM spot. just not sure if the DR is in the hurricane belt - i'm bad with stuff like that.

I am going to Aruba, we are staying at Occidental. It is all inclusive. We are actually renting a time share so it worked out to be a great deal. We were told by travel agent to only go to aruba, bonaire, curacel. FM if you want any more information!
