Re: HM in Aruba...need a hotel

I don't like the Aruba Grand, sorry . It is kinda old and in need of renovations. The Wyndham is nice and so is the Radisson and the Marriott. The Hyatt is beautiful but a bit over priced (in my opinion).

Re: HM in Aruba...need a hotel

im staying at the Divi.. it isnt as upscale as some of the other hotels but it is right on the beach. you step out onto the sand.My sister stayed there and she said it was nice and relaxing. Were paying for everything ourselves so we went the middle road. Plus we are going at the most $$ time of the year (feb) were teachers so we were limited to when we could go away. didnt want to get married in the summer b/c prices double. anywaysorry i got off the subject

when I went on vacaition in Aruba we stayed at the sonesta it is now called the renassance it was very nice alot of shops there is a small boat that comes right into the hotel and takes u to there private beach. the ships dock across the street and at night it is very pretty with the lights and there are a few very nice places to eat, and a casino in the hotel if u haven't booked yet check into it. And don't forget the nightlife and tours

Re: HM in Aruba...need a hotel

We are going to aruba in may for our honeymoon. We are lucky to have my dad paying for it as our gift.

We wanted to go all inclusive, so we are staying at the Wyndahm. I can't wait!

Re: HM in Aruba...need a hotel

I stayed at the Wydham on vacation-not honeymoon and it was great. The Hyatt has a beautiful pool area. But I heard the rooms are exactly the same as the wydham.

You cant go wrong wherever you stay. Its beautiful

Re: HM in Aruba...need a hotel

we also stayed at the divi divi, it was very nice, nice balconies, they also have ground level 'casitas' right on the beach, and it was all inclusive which was very convenient. it was affordable enough that we could still go out to dinner 4 or 5 times.

Re: HM in Aruba...need a hotel

We stayed at the Hyatt and really enjoyed our stay there. We were upgraded to an oceanfront room and the view was beautiful at sunset.
