Hotel El Conquistador closing?? I heard a rumor....but FH and I want to book SOON for our HM!

not that i know of they had awesome deals at liberty travel for they last week say it in the newspaper. the condato plaza is awesome too. but the most beautiful hotel ive found in puerto rico is il convento. its is across the street from the church mark anthony got married in. its in san juan there is also a marriot casino in san juan in the heart of the town also but condato, then il convento are my favorites.

Hi! I worked in Puerto Rico for ~1 year and I can make some suggestions if you'll like -- I think the best place to stay is in Isla Verde and not in Condado (Both part of the greater San Juan area). I think El San Juan Hotel is a good hotel as well as the intercontinental. The reason Isla Verde is better is because it's right near the beach (very popular). It's funny -- I never saw El Convento? Condado is not that nice -- too much Casino.

Condado was not bad, Corinne7477 and I stayed there about three years ago and we liked it. But too many teenagers. I liked the Casino and the walking distance to everything. I would take Catty's suggestions though, she seems to know
