HM Question

Hello,

We are starting to research HM's and these are our two options. We still need to compare prices but any input on what you think would be better? Spending all our time in Italy or seeing parts of a few places on the Mediterranean cruise???

Thanks:)

Re: HM Question

I don't think you'll have enough time to see everything you want if you cruise b/c your time in each city is limited. But I think the cruise is probably much more affordable given the current rate exchange. I was looking into a mediterraean cruise too but can't find any that leave at the right time.

I would have to agree, though it would be nice to see EVERYTHING.. you are prob going to want to relax. Maybe you can take a day trip or two to another part of Italy??

Re: HM Question

I am going to Europe on a cruise. We were going to look into staying in one of the cities but with the dollar being weak right now, it made sense to cruise. We have our meals on there, a nice veranda suite and I think we will be just fine. Plus, we get to go to each city for 12 or 13 hours and I think that gives us plenty of time to go sightseeing. There is so much to be seen in Europe and IMO staying in one city for a high price is a waste.

Re: HM Question

I would stay in Italy for two days before or after the cruise but I would cruise it and enjoy

We were in Italy last year and it will definitely cost you MUCH more. We considered going back, but we are doing Freedom of the Seas for one week and Disney for one week and though it's not cheap, it will cost us less than a week in Italy . . . you will shop ALOT there, so you have to factor that in . . . . .
