i've been looking for flights to tahiti using rewards miles. the best that i can find at the moment only gives me a full 7 days (arrive early sat morning and leave early sat morning). we'd add an extra 5 days in vegas to extend the HM. is 7 full days too short though? i'd hate to fly all the way out there and only do 7 days in tahiti but unfortunately that's how the available flights are scheduled. we would do probably 2 days in moorea and 5 in bora bora. thoughts? our other option is to completely scrap the tahiti plan and maybe do a full 12 days in hawaii or another location completely.

I think thats fine...I usually dont stay longer than 7 days anywhere (except Asia the flight was 17hrs I stayed a full month)

ugh! true. my vacations last only 5-6 days usually. i just don't think i'll ever be in that part of the world again and i want to extend it for as long as possible, make sure i get the most out of the flight.
