HM- to tour or not to tour that is the question.
Like 10 years ago my parents went on a tour to Hawaii. They used Tauck Tours. They said they would highly recomend them. But my moms not sure if she would recomend HM going because they plan all of ure activites. Which is also included in the original price u pay for the tour. Airfare in between Island is included and they take u to all of ure activities. My mom thinks its great cause Everything that u want to do in Hawaii is planned and the people who work there also no everything about the islands. They also stay in the nicest hotels. She just thinks whe u go ure HM u might want to be alone.12 day tour is
the big island stay at-the orchid at Mauna Lani
Maui stay at-Kapalua bay hotel. Maui prince hotel
Kaui stay at-Princeville Hotel. Sheraton Kaui Hotel.
Oahu Waikiki beach stay at-Royal Hawaiian Hotel .
You can also include all inclusive packages.
I dont know what to do.

Are you allowed to break off from the tour if you want to?

You might want to relax, and that might be to fast paced for you, but you should look into if you can break off from the tour then it might be good!!

You dont have to go to what they have planned. they also give u like 1 free day on each island. But do u really want to pay the moneya and then not do the activites?

I would say, don't do a tour. Do you want to be with a group of 40 people all the time? I don't normally recommend to my clients a tour for their honeymoon. Tauck is great company but the people are usually older. JMO

Personally I wouldn't tour for my HM because I would want it to be on my schedule not someone elses. JMO.

I just got back from Hawaii Friday and I would say DON'T TOUR. We rented ajeep on Maui and Kuaui and didd all of our touring ourselves. We went off road and had a great time. The only place we DID tour was we took a day trip (Polynesian tours) to Oahu to see Pearl Harbor, USS Arizona, USS Missouri, Waikiki beach and the main attractions on that island. We were very happy we did that. The islands are fairly easy to get around with a map when renting a car.

DON'T DO A TOUR!!!!!!!!! Hawaii is very easy to get around - it is not like some countries in europe where you might feel uncomfortable b.c you don't speak the language. If you do a tour you will have to be with the people ALL the time. If they are late to the bus you ALL WAIT. You are on THEIR time.
You are better to do it yourself - that way if you are tired or see something interesting you can do whatever pleases you.

Re: HM- to tour or not to tour that is the question.
I wouldn't do a tour on your honeymoon. It will definitly be very tiring and you won't get a lot of alone time with our new DH on the beach just talking and being together ALONE
. If you want to see more of the island, ask the hotels to recoomend guided day tours or half day tours. That way you can go on a day by day basis depending on how you feel. You won't be obligated to abide by tour times and schedules.

it sounds like fun.....but I know after my wedding, all I wanted to do was sit on a beach and relax.
P.S. I stayed at all these hotels on my hm and they were all beautiful. You will have a blast. The Princeville was my favorite.
