I'm so confused girls, we are interested in Mexico/Caribbean, but honestly every place looks the same online. I'm beginning to think that maybe we should go with a travel agent. Anyone here use a good one? I'm in Queens btw.

Re: HM--travel agent or no travel agent?
if you don't know where to go, then use a travel agent. It won't cost you anything...But use someoene that comes recommended and ask around about places your interested interested in.
My travel agent is on LI, one time I used a women from LIberty Travel in Bay Terrace and she was very good..but I knew where I wanted to go and she just booked it for me.

Tania from AAA Travel in Garden City is great.. i would recommend a travel agent especially if the itinerary gets complicated.

I second getting a travel agent. They have connections to flight/hotel contacts who can give them steep discounts which are passed on to you.
We just booked a trip w/in the US and the Agent we used got us a good deal w/ non-stop flights at the times we wanted to leave. When I tried to plan my trip on Expedia, Orbitz, Travelocity and other web sites, I saw my fees were higher and my flights all had connections.

Re: HM--travel agent or no travel agent?
This is what I did and it we got the best we possibly could-
I looked around at a bunch of travel sites and got my own prices... the best deal I found was on honeymoonsinc.com, but since it's not a well-known site I felt more comfortable going to a travel agent
so i went to Liberty Travel and they price match most competitors (except like Travelocity bc they book off last minute cancellations and such) and so they price matched what I got, even our agent was like umm your airfare to Cancun is cheaper than what I got for myself last month with my travel agent discount!
We used Liberty Travel in Syracuse b/c we live up there now so I can't vouch for down there but I'd check them out!

Definately travel agent!! For nearly a yr I drove myself crazy looking up different places, price quoting, etc. Once I found my ta she did everything for me and is a big help! She in east northport though, so that's far for you.
Ps I'm a big expedia/ecruises/vacationstogo online booker, so I was extremely hesitant at first
